Smoked Little Hereford
The Little Hereford is matured for six months before being delivered to the Black Mountain smokery in Crickhowell where it is expertly smoked for 24 hours over oak chips.
The cheese is full flavoured before it gets to the smoking so that the cheese flavour is enhanced not obliterated. Nice fruity, sharp, tangy, cheddar- like flavour, and then the smoke! Always very popular with our customers at the dairy.
